Experience the Future of Food at Agroecology Europe Forum 2025
Join us in Malmö, Sweden, from October 2–4 for the first-ever Nordic edition of the Agroecology Europe Forum, a vibrant three-day gathering of food system changemakers, farmers, researchers, artists, and the public. Under the theme “Transformation in Action!”, the Forum is designed as a dynamic festival and collaborative workshop to accelerate agroecological transitions across Europe.
Each day follows a distinct theme—visions, pathways, and actions—guiding participants through a deep and inspiring journey toward a more just and resilient food system.
Day 1: Visions of Agroecological Transformation
We begin by exploring the mindset shifts and cultural foundations of agroecology, including intersectionality, equity, and social justice. Through visionary thinking, we imagine the future of food rooted in care for people and planet.
Day 2: Exploring Transformative Pathways
This day dives into seven interconnected pathways—from resilient food production systems, perennial agriculture, and new economic models to community food cultures, innovative policies, transformative education, and Nordic-specific challenges. Malmö also comes alive with public events, inviting citizens to join the transformation.
Day 3: Moving into Action
Bringing it all together, we transform ideas into concrete next steps—drafting policy briefs, forming action plans, and launching networks. The Forum closes on a hopeful, collective note of empowerment and celebration.
With keynotes, hands-on workshops, artistic exhibitions, and a bustling farmer’s market, the Agroecology Europe Forum 2025 is more than a conference—it’s an immersive call to action.
Be part of the movement. The future of food starts here.
